Ripasia caerulea (Trew) Raf. Baptisia australis, commonly known as wild blue indigo or false blue indigo, is a flowering plant in the family Fabaceae (legumes). It is native to much of Central and Eastern North America and is especially common in the Midwest, but has also been introduced far beyond its native range.
